About this piece

Salt at the threshold is one of the oldest gestures. We hand-grind ours in a traditional molcajete with herbs and dried citrus — Calor leans warm with rose, cinnamon, and dried marigold; Aire leans bright with mint, rosemary, and lemon peel. We honor a practice that crosses many lineages while staying rooted in ours.
