De Alma y Corazón was created by Olivia Garza Holub and Emily Murillo from a shared love of making, gathering, and the quiet practices we keep at home—lighting a candle, sharing words, planting something for the future, and gathering around a table.

The brand’s bilingual expression and Latin influences are rooted in Olivia’s Latina heritage and also reflect the multicultural family life and relationships that have deeply shaped Emily’s home.

Together, we are drawn to the ways people create meaning within everyday life. For us, making is a way of paying attention—to a person, a memory, a transition, or the life unfolding around us. Everything we create begins with that attention.

Most of what goes into our collections is made or finished by us, by hand, in small batches. We paint, blend, grind, emboss, arrange, and assemble each collection in our North Carolina studio. A smaller number of pieces are created with or sourced from artists and makers whose work we love, and we share their origins and contributions.

What we make may change with the season, but its purpose remains the same: to help people pause, connect, offer care, and honor what matters.
